Ray Kurzweil appears live on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Real Time with Bill Maher

Ray Kurzweil was interviewed on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, June 16, and HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday June 17. Kurzweil discussed the ideas behind the film Transcendent Man.


Below: ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live | “Ray Kurzweil accurately predicted the end of the Soviet Union and the rise of the Internet, and he believes that it won’t be long before computers and humans merge to form something I call ‘compumans,’” said host Jimmy Kimmel.

Below: HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher | “Bill Gates calls him ‘the best person I know at predicting the future,’” Maher said. “The just-released documentary about him is called Transcendent Man — the amazing Ray Kurzweil.” Ray Kurzweil’s segment from the June 17, 2011 (episode 217) show starts at 6:20.
